In November 2006, Plimoth Plantation began an ambitious project to re-create a woman’s embroidered waistcoat of the early 1600’s. Many of the garment’s shimmering threads and spangles were brought back into production for the first time in hundreds of years. We are happy to be able to offer this custom embroidery kit using the exact silk thread palette that was used for this important jacket.
