As seen on Colonial House, these square shaped bottles were popular for storing wine in the 17th-century. The square shape allowed them to be easliy packed in crates for shipping. Made in the original manner by blowing through a long tube to inflate a glob of molten glass, and then shaped by hand, each bottle is unique. approximately 9 inches tall.
