18th Century British Naval Cannon
Naval cannons were set up on several gun decks on the typical Man of War and the broadsides resulting from all the guns on one side of a ship firing in unison were legendary. The carriages had an extensive rope system to stop a recoiling cannon and get it back in firing position. This miniature replica, 11 inches long, is very well detailed.
