In the Wake of the Mayflower is a Giclée print from the original watercolor painting.

The stars on the print depict the Pilgrims first landing sites before settling in Plymouth, in November 1620, the Mayflower anchored in Provincetown Harbor.

The smoke rising from the dune indicates the Native presence. The darker shaded denotes the native land of the Nauset Tribe.

The print from an original watercolor painting, was inspired by the book In the Wake of the Mayflower "The First Encounter "Cape Cod 1620, which Karen Rinaldo co-authored with Kevin M. Doyle, a combat veteran, historian, and lecturer.
