Ego dilecto meo et dilectus meus (I Am My Beloved's)

Ego dilecto meo et dilectus meus (I Am My Beloved's)

$ 45.00

From the Song of Solomon, chapter 6 verse 3, comes this beautiful message from King Solomon - a declaration of mutual love and affection from some of the most passionate verses in the Bible. The Song of Songs can be read on many levels. On the surface it is about romantic love, but it can also be read as an allegory about the relation of the finite to the infinite making it even more complex. Traditionally though, the verse has been given as a token of love when engraved on jewelry.

Sterling silver ring inscribed in Latin: Ego dilecto meo et dilectus meus, meaning 'I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine'. Available in sizes 4-13. Also available in 14K and 18K gold. Please call for a quote, as prices of gold fluctuate daily.

Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.
