A Sweet Ship Candle

A Sweet Ship Candle

$ 25.00

This candle’s signature fragrance evokes the more pleasant aromas of a wooden freighter - wood, spices, and wine.  Mayflower was, according to shipping records, frequently a wine ship, and historian Samuel Eliot Morison noted in his edition of William Bradford’s Of Plymouth Plantation that wine ships would be called “sweet ships” from any leaks soaking into the decks.

Hand blended and poured at Plimoth Plantation; candle lid made from Mayflower restoration wood.

Notes: Tobacco Leaf, Spice, Salt & Smoke.
