This 'fede' or 'faith' ring is adapted from an original 15th-16th century Italian ring now in the Ashmolean Museum in England. Fede rings are composed of the right hands of two lovers clasped together. They are known as 'mani in fede' in Italian; in English, as 'hands in trust'. They were particularly popular in Italy during the Renaissance and throughout the 16th century as betrothal or engagement rings and continue to delight us today with the symbolism and charming design.

Sterling silver ring. Two right hands clasped together as a symbol of faith and concord. Available in sizes 4-13. Also available in 14K and 18K gold. Please call for a quote, as prices of gold fluctuate daily.

Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.
