Pewter Scallop Shell Necklace

A treasured keepsake from a walk along the shore, the scallop shell has long been a symbol of making a pilgrimage and salvation. Beautifully hand-crafted in pewter in an artist's studio on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, this pewter shell is cast from an actual shell found on the beach.

Each piece is handmade with lead-free pewter, using gravity casting as a technique. After buffing, each item is given a touch of antiqued appearance.
