Colonial Coin Replicas Set

Description

After the Continental Dollar and the State patterns of 1776, no coins were minted until the end of the Revolutionary War in 1783 due to the high demand of metal and the copper that was mined was for the war effort rather than minting of coins.

This set includes 6 replica coins: Massachusetts Cent 1787, Rhode Island Token 1778-79, New York Cent 1787, New Jersey Cent 1787, Connecticut Cent 1787, New Hampshire Halfpenny 1776

Coins are mounted on a card in a vinyl holder for easy display with the history on the back of the card.

Coins are cast in lead-free pewter then plated to match the original's appearance
