Rolling Hoop
Hoops have appeared on ancient Greek vases and relief as toys and forms of exercise the early North American colonists brought this pastime along with them. They were made of whatever material was at hand or borrowed from old barrels. The hoop could be trundled along, raced, used for skipping or twisted round and round the waist until it fell to the ground. This wood rolling hoop measures 28 inches in diameter and is accompanied by a 12-inch stick.
