Rye Barrel-Aged Maple Syrup
Long before Europeans arrived on these shores, Indigenous people harvested sap from maple trees in a process largely unchanged to this day. Recently, our friends at Finding Home Farms thought that aging their maple syrup in rye barrels would add a “most perfect flavor” to their already pretty perfect syrup.
