The First Thanksgiving ,1621 is a Giclée print from the original 5’x 3’ oil painting by Karen Rinaldo. The original painting was commissioned by The National Association of Congregational Churches (The Pilgrims Church) in 1994 and was displayed at Plimoth Plantation for 20 years in an exhibit titled “Memory, Myth and Meaning.”
It is considered by historians to be the most historically accurate painting to date.
Printed on archival paper with archival ink and signed lower right. Included is a legend that is an identification key of the people present at the time of the harvest feast. Also included is a history sheet .
