For the very thirsty we offer our decorated drinking vessel - the largest we offer. Multi handled cups like these were popular in the 17th century. The design is carved into the clay with a sharp instrument before the glaze is applied and the piece is fired. Modeled after pieces of pottery in the town of Wrotham in Kent, England. Handmade by a member of our Interpretative Artisans Program in the Crafts Center here at Plimoth Patuxet, each is slightly different. Approximately 5.5" high and 4" in diameter.
